I warned her. She is the kindest and gentlest of people, and I told my sister-in-law if she married my brother all those years ago, she ran the risk of becomming just like him. That time has come. Upon hearing the story of the farmer and his bucket (See here) s-i-l went on line and found this image, and immediately put her vast creative skills to work painting this bucket. She gifted it to the farmer for his birthday along with an equally interesting card. She and my brother threw in a gift card for good measure to a favorite eatery....does she REALLY think that makes up for THIS????
I think not. She was warned. She chose not to heed my advice and this is what she has come to.
Needn't think the farmer viewed this as ONLY a joke...oh no...not the farmer. He would not DREAM of wasting a bucket....It WILL be used.
