Katherine Dunn of Apifera Farm is an artist, farmer, writer, baker of pies and lover of all animals, especially donkeys...
...she illustrates stories with her charming drawings....
...and paints the most beautiful pictures.
She's written a book which is coming out in November.
Katherine shares her farm with the very young.....
both people and animals...
...and the...not so young.
Once a year, she bakes pies....lots of pies....and invites people to come and share her farm...
and her pies...
and she sells aprons to raise money to support senior animals and then be able to hold private pie parties for hospice workers, senior citizens, school groups etc...so they can enjoy pie...
...and the donkeys of Apifera.
This year, I am excited to be a....PIE AMBASSADOR! This means, I am collecting aprons to mail to Pino and Katherine in Oregon for pie day.
