Scarf it up.....

Over the weekend, I cleaned.  I don't like to clean much, but the pollen was thick enough to plow, so I knew something had to be done.  When I have something to do I don't like much, I find it easier  if I know there is something fun waiting for me at the end.  Hillary Tattersall asked me to make a handstitched scarf for her to look at for her website.  Here is the result.  I made  it using two old tee shirts in two shades of green and handstitched the pieces together.  I added a little pocket to one end with a shell button, and on the other end a little posy.  

It's sort of funky and fun....I sent it to Hillary at Chick's Picks, and I hope it's what she had in mind.....we'll see...I hope she photographs it better than I did!
