Owl Babies

When farmhand 2 was a little fellow, his favorite book was called Owl Babies.  I don't know why, but he was hung up on it as only toddlers can be, and we had to read it multiple times each night before bed.  As as result, I became an owl fan.  Every now and then, in the middle of the night, lying in bed with the windows open, I can hear an owl.  Usually it is the type that calls out "whoooooooo" but once or twice I have heard a screech owl which is a really strange sound.  Yesterday, I read about this "owl cam" and am fast becoming obsessed with it!  You must check it out.  There is this barn owl sitting in an owl box on several eggs that may or may not have hatched when this is posted.  I am fascinated by it.  Be sure to check it out... and if you have not read Owl Babies, check that out too...I think I will see if I can dig it up and read it again.
